Recommended Practices

APs 203, 209, 214, and 242:

The CAx-IF develops and maintains various recommended practices documents dealing with various Application Protocols (APs 203, 209, 214, and 242), the STEP PDM Schema, and functional areas of implementation (PMI, model styling, material properties, validation properties, etc.)

These documents provide guidance to implementors for developing software for the various STEP Application Protocols and Modules. These documents can be found here.
